Buddha’s dance

Everything begins with the dance of the Buddha. At the end there is silence.

Buddha’s dance

As the great Buddha danced, the knot of his necklace unraveled

and the precious pearls fell into the infinite vastness of the Universe.

They became the moon, sun, earth and all the planets.

In the rhythm of his dance, they moved in their tracks.

When the great Buddha finished his dance, he noticed the loss of his pearls.

He slipped the string of his necklace into the infinity of space and so he collected his pearls:

moon, sun, earth and all the planets.

They returned to their order on the necklace.

When the great Buddha had put all the pearls back in place, he renewed the knot.

The dance was over and there was a time of silence.
