Joel Candelario Cruz (Germany/Philippines)

Joel Candelario Cruz came to Germany from the Philippines at the age of four. After training as a marketing and communications clerk in Frankfurt am Main, he studied visual communication, media management and advertising psychology in Berlin. He belonged to numerous advisory bodies of the Federal Government and was a member of the expert committee of the Federal Chancellery on the topics of migration and integration. He was also chairman of the business association VMW-Verband der Migrantenwirtschaft. For his commitment, he received an award for voluntary work from the then Federal President Joachim Gauck. He is the founder of H4-AKADEMIE GmbH.
